It is with profound sorrow that Toodle’s Funeral Home announces the passing of Mr. Shaun Maurice Hyman Jr., who departed this life on February 22, 2026, at the age of 23. During this time of deep grief, we respectfully ask that family, friends, and the entire community keep the Hyman and Hammond families uplifted in prayer and surrounded with love and support.
Shaun’s life, though far too brief, was marked by a vibrant spirit, a warm heart, and a presence that brought light into every room. He possessed a joyful energy that resonated deeply with all who knew him. Whether through his laughter, his kindness, or his unwavering loyalty to those he loved, Shaun made a lasting impression that will not be forgotten. His legacy is one of love, friendship, and genuine compassion.
To know Shaun was to experience his sincerity and his ability to make others feel valued. He cherished his family and friends and found great joy in the bonds he shared with them. Though words cannot fully capture the magnitude of this loss, we take comfort in the many treasured memories he leaves behind. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Spring Green Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, located at 302 West 4th Street, Plymouth, North Carolina 27962. This service will honor Shaun’s life, reflect on the joy he brought to so many, and provide an opportunity for family and friends to gather in remembrance and unity.
For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed via Toodle’s Funeral Home’s Facebook page. We encourage everyone to share the live stream so that extended family and friends may also join in celebrating and honoring the life of Mr. Shaun Maurice Hyman Jr.
